Following on from the recent AGM we have now formed a new Committee. See the Committee page the list new officers and confirmed meeting dates.
Just a quick reminder that all members are most welcome to join us at any meeting or afterwards for a social drink and natter. We always welcome your ideas for runs, events, or any other ideas on how to improve the Club.
Your Committee are still very perturbed at the low turnout at our events each month and the contact between Club members which is what a Club is all about. We hope to rectify this by holding a social get-together once a month so we can get to know each other a bit better, maybe have a drink and a bit of a natter about morie minors or the world in general.
We have secured the 3rd Thursday of each month at the Papanui RSA which means the first of these social evenings is this coming Thursday, 15th May.
The bar will be open and supper will be provided. Please make an effort to come along bring your partner, and let us know if you think this could become a worthwhile monthly club event.
Where: Papanui RSA, 55 Bellvue Ave
When: Thursday 15 May from 7pm
A map of how to get to the Papanui RSA can be found on our website by clicking here
We hope to see you all there.
The Canterbury Morris Minor Club Committee.
I had two reasons for doing this, the first being to give it a fresh look as it hasn’t had any updates for ages.
However, the main reason was to make it easier for you, our Club members, to upload your Morrie photos. The website photos section is now powered by Flickr. Flickr provides free Apps for iOS and Android smartphones allowing you to easily upload your photos straight from your phone! or from a PC.
The Club now has it’s own flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/cmmc
First upload your photos to your Flickr account and then simply share them with our Flickr group and they will get displayed on our Club website. It is that easy.
If you already have a Flickr account (free) you are halfway there already.
The Committee page now shows the dates for the coming committee meetings. All members welcome to come along and share ideas for future events.
The new Committee for the 2013-2014 term has been formed. See the Committee page for a complete update.
Sorry for the lack of website updates. Over the next few days I will attempt to get the website up-to-date again.
The Club magazines downloads and calendar of events are now up to date.
