A bit slack I know but I have finally got around to updating the Club Magazine page. Check it out as it now has the last 4 years of missing magazines!
We now have our own Facebook Group! Head over to www.facebook.com/groups/morrieclub to check it out.
Feel free to post Morris Minor related photos, wanted, parts or cars for sale, technical info etc or just pop in to introduce yourself and have a chat with fellow members. We’re a friendly bunch 🙂
You may remember that last year we created a Facebook Page – whilst this was a success it was not very interactive so this new Group supersedes the old Page and allows you, our members, to have a say.
The 26th Canterbury Morris Minor Club AGM.
All welcome. Current member, new members, non-members.
Join the Club, join the Committee, have some fun with your Morrie!
28 June. 2pm at the Papanui RSA
For more information contract Ivan on 03 348 9644 or come along on the day.
I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year and are looking forward to getting your beloved Morrie back out of the garage?
This coming Sunday 11 January we have the Safari rally planned. However, due to the Elite Nationals cycling event I have had to re-organise our plans. Both the start location and chosen picnic domain are now out of bounds as the Elite Nationals are affectively closing down the whole of Cashmere, Hoon Hay, Halswell and Spreydon for cycle racing. I can only assume they haven’t read our magazine!
So the important information is that we have a new start location.
Meet: 10:30am Café Euro carpark on Merrin Street, Avonhead. This will also allow anyone to grab a takeaway coffee before we start.
I will hand out driving instructions along with questions along the way to take us on a safari visiting some of the various giraffes around Christchurch.
There will be prizes 🙂
The final destination is Mona Vale so bring your own picnic and enjoy a natter under the trees.
Hope to see you all there.
